ABOUT
Kara holds a Master of ArtS (Photomedia) and a Graduate Diploma in Design from UNSW Art & Design, and a BA in Communication (Media Arts & Production) from the University of Technology Sydney.
Her PHOTOGRAPHY has been recognised internationally, MOST RECENTLY winning the Street Food category at the 2026 World Food Photography Awards and receiving a Commended award in 2025. She has also been recognised by the International Photography Awards, PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris and the London International Creative Competition, and selected to exhibit as a finalist in a number of Australian art prizes.
Alongside her photography practice, Kara has worked in creative production for more than a decade, producing TV COMMERCIALS and integrated campaigns for global advertising agencies, Working closely with directors, PHOTOGRAPHERS and creative teams which continues to inform her approach to creative development, collaboration and visual storytelling.
